Senior Stylist
Location: Bicton, Perth WA
Full-time (Tuesday–Friday only, no weekends)
Compensation: $35 – $37 per hour + commission

The Senior Stylist at Renee Yates Hair (RYH) plays a vital role in delivering premium client experiences while upholding the salon’s reputation for hair extensions, colour and lightening services, and keratin smoothing treatments. More than just a hair stylist, this role is about designing personalised journeys for each client, with a strong focus on connection, calm, and professionalism.

As part of our leadership team, the Senior Stylist contributes to the overall performance of the salon by excelling in technical services, mentoring stylists, and championing the RYH culture of kindness and growth. Performance Objectives

• Deliver premium, personalised client experiences across cutting, colouring, styling, extensions, and keratin smoothing services.
• Act as the salon’s specialist in keratin smoothing treatments, while supporting
  extensions, corrective colour, and advanced services.
• Lead by example on the floor, setting the tone for professionalism, artistry, and calm client care.
• Mentor and support stylists at all levels, sharing knowledge, fostering growth, and building confidence.
• Support and participate in in-salon training programs, including coaching new stylists and contributing to ongoing education.
• Uphold the highest standard of hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation within your column and throughout the salon.
• Collaborate with the team and Front of House receptionist to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and seamless client flow.
• Participate in fortnightly check-ins with Renee to align on personal goals, training, leadership development, and business growth.
• Contribute to salon culture by fostering accountability, unity, and positivity within the team.
• Monitor client satisfaction, address concerns with professionalism, and build long-term client loyalty.
• Drive business performance through client rebooking, retail recommendations, and referrals.
• Provide feedback on salon systems and processes to support efficiency and
  continuous improvement.
• Support the owner and team as needed to ensure the salon runs smoothly and clients feel consistently cared for.
